Who we are.
A parent-teacher-student organization serving Murphy High School. Every parent, teacher, and student is welcome, and every member gets a vote.
Our mission
Everybody says Panther Pride. It is on the banners. It is in every announcement. We want you to actually see it, in a school where families know what is happening, where no student sits out because of what it costs, and where kids get to enjoy high school instead of just completing it.
Murphy has always been better than its reputation. The PTSO exists to prove it.
What Murphy offers our kids
Murphy is an IB World School with a JROTC program and a college center on campus. If you are new to Murphy, the Murphy University Center is the part most families do not know about.

Officers
Five elected officers, two student representatives, a faculty representative, and the committee chairs make up the Executive Board. The School Principal serves as a non-voting advisor. Officers serve one-year terms running July 1 to June 30, and may serve at most two consecutive terms in the same office. Elections are held at the annual meeting each May.
